Configure the Messaging element to display comments, requirements, and success or warning messages based on the outcome of the validation expression (True or False). Set up the Messaging element after creating components like formulas or aggregates to present validation messages in the OmniScript. Note that merge fields are supported in these messages.
Steps for adding messaging element into Omniscript
- From the OmniScript Designer, drag the Messaging element into the structure panel at the desired location where the message should appear. Note that LWC OmniScripts do not support the Messaging element within an Edit Block.

- For Validate Expression enter the expression to validate.
- In the Messages section, choose the message types for when the expression evaluates as True or False, and enter the corresponding messages. Both True and False messaging can be deactivated, and providing messages is optional.
Below is screenshot of different settings available for messaging element.
Below is example of warning and comment type of message. Now, if I enter percentage between 50 – 70 then I will get success message otherwise I will get warning based on expression check.
